Walker, Peggy Maxwell - Evanston  
Mar. 31, 1954 ~ Mar. 2, 2015 Peggy Maxwell Walker passed away in Lubbock, Texas March 2, 2015. Born on March 31, 1954 in Coalville, Utah to Arlo and Merilyn (Neilson) Maxwell. She married Vance Walker on July 16, 1976 in the St. George LDS Temple. She was a wonderful wife, mother and nana. Her greatest joy was being a nana. Peggy loved her family. She was an active member of the LDS church. She served others in her work as a registered nurse. She is survived by her husband, Vance; and children, Trevor, M.D. and his wife Danielle, M.D.; Wesley and Melissa; and Dane and Katherine. Also, her seven grandchildren; brothers: Conrad and Eric, sisters: Arlyn, Clover, and Julie. Funeral service will be on Saturday, March 7, 2015 at 2:00 p.m. in the Peoa LDS Ward Chapel. Woodbury, Audrey - Bountiful  
1930 ~ 2015 Audrey passed away peacefully in her home holding the hand of her sweetheart on March 2nd, 2015 after having fought a long courageous battle with cancer. She was 84 years old. Audrey was born in Reno Nevada, the youngest child of Martha Brinkley. She attended Reno High School and was a good student. While attending high school, Audrey began working as a supervisor at Woolworth's Drug Store at the young age of 14. After graduating from high school, she began working in a bank in Reno and would work in the banking business in Gallup, NM and Salt Lake City, UT for many years to come. In her later years she enjoyed working at the Energy Solutions Arena. Audrey had a passion for reading and watching sports. She especially loved attending her children's and grandchildren's games in whatever sports they were involved. She also loved supporting her children in the many plays and productions in which they participated. She had a quick wit and was a talented bowler. Audrey met her sweetheart, John, in a bowling league and knew she had bowled a strike. They were married on July 9, 1955 in Reno, Nevada and were approaching their 60th anniversary. Her children, Lissa, Scott, and Mike were born in the years ahead. Although Audrey worked for many years, her priority was being at home with her children. She loved her family dearly and supported them in all the activities she was able to. She was an incredible seamstress and spent many hours sewing for children, grandchildren, family, and friends. She was an excellent cook and loved to try new recipes. Audrey and John have spent many hours with friends and family playing games and traveling. She had a great sense of humor and loved to have a good time. Audrey leaves behind her husband John, daughter Lissa Jensen (Welby), and sons, Scott (Wendy) and Michael (Janice); 13 grandchildren; and 3 great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her mother Martha, a brother Allan, and sister, Norma. Special recognition and thanks go to the doctors and nurses at Huntsman Cancer Institute who cared for Audrey over the past three years and to Gentiva/Canyon Hospice who helped her during her last few months. Funeral services will be held on Tuesday, March 10, 2015 at 11:00 a.m. at the Chase Lane LDS Chapel at 1125 North 400 West, in Centerville, Utah. Friends and family may visit the previous day, Monday, between 6 and 8 p.m. at Russon Brother's Mortuary, 295 North Main, Bountiful. Visitation will also be held at the Chase Lane Chapel from 9:45-10:45 a.m. prior to the funeral services. Interment will be at the Centerville City Cemetery. Wade, Brenda Lee Hatt - Salt Lake City  
1965 - 2015 Passed away on March 2, 2015 with her family by her side. She was born January 24, 1965 to Larry and Nancy Hatt. Brenda really enjoyed doing genealogy and collecting dolls. She also love her LDS faith and was active in her church. Brenda was very happy when she and Frank were sealed for time and eternity in the Draper Temple. Disneyland was Brenda's favorite place to visit with her husband. She is survived by her husband Frank, mother Nancy, her sister Bobbi Warburton, her brother Kevin and many, many extended family members whom she loved dearly. Friends and family are invited to a funeral service on Saturday, March 7, 2015 at 11 am at the Midvale 8th Ward, 8350 S. Jackson, Midvale, with a viewing on Friday, March 6, 2015 fom 6-8 pm and from 9:30-10:30 am both at the ward. Interment will be at 2:30 pm at the Mountain View Cemetery, 3115 E. 7800 S., SLC.

Walker, Margaret - Evanston  
1921 ~ 2015 Margaret Stark Walker, 93, passed away peacefully at her home, surrounded by her family. Margaret was born in Lindon, Utah, July 11, 1921, the oldest of four daughters of Wilford John and Olive Johnson Stark. She was raised on the family farm in Orem, Utah, working in the fields alongside her father. She attended elementary school in Lindon and graduated as one of the top 10 students of her class from Pleasant Grove High School. She was sealed to Rex Basil Walker in the Salt Lake temple on May 28th, 1941. She followed him to North Carolina, and El Paso Texas as he served his country during WWII. Following his release from the Army, they settled in Kamas, Utah where she lived the remainder of her life. She was a dedicated homemaker, a wonderful cook and seamstress and was known for her beautiful vegetable gardens and flowerbeds. She had a love for music and sang with the Choralettes from Heber Valley for ten years. She served as president of the Summit East Unit of the American Cancer Society for six years. An active member of the LDS church, she served in many of the organizations, especially Relief Society, twice as ward Relief Society president. She served seven years as a guide patrol leader and loved hiking with all 68 boys. She typed over 1406 patriarchal blessings while her husband served as stake patriarch. She is survived by her husband of 73 years, Rex Basil Walker, children Carolyn (Lynn) Winterton, Cheryl (Harvey) Hughett, Barry (Diane) Walker and Garry (Cindy) Walker, 29 grandchildren, 91 great grandchildren, and her sisters Edith Stark Veteto and Rosalyn Stark Beveridge. She was preceded in death by her oldest son, Rex J (Kathy) Walker and sister Carol Stark Swenson. The family expresses their deepest thanks to the doctors and employees of Encompass Home and Health Hospice. Funeral services will be held on Saturday, March 7, 2015 at the Kamas Ward Chapel, 100 West Center beginning at 11:00 am. Webb, Richard Golden - Sandy  
1940 ~ 2015 Dick was born in Salt Lake City to Golden and Erma Webb. He passed March 1, 2015 due to complications from heart surgery, with his family by his side. He lived a long, full and adventurous nine lives. He could make friends with anyone anywhere! He graduated from West High School in 1958. He retired as a State Farm Agent and Utah Air National Guard Assistant Fire Chief. Married to Colleen Stanger. Survived by his wife; daughters, Marti, Jami (Paul), Nikki (Jack), Jody and Robyn; 10 grandchildren; 4 great grandchildren; brother, Glen; sisters, Deanna and Nadene. Dick loved his family, vintage cars, outdoor sports and tinkering in his shop. Funeral services will be held Saturday, March 7, 11:00 am, at Larkin Sunset Gardens, 1950 E. Dimple Dell Road (10600 S.). Viewings Friday from 6-8pm and Saturday at 10:00 am prior to services. Weyland, Iona - Pleasant Grove  
Jan. 25, 1917 ~ Feb. 25, 2015 Iona was born 25 January 1917 to William Harrison Adams and Pearl Chamberlain of Pleasant Grove, Utah, the second of four children and the oldest of three girls. She graduated from Pleasant Grove high school with honors. She married Leonard Alvin Weyland in the SLC Temple on 28 March 1940. They lived in Erda, Utah and Pleasant Grove, Utah where they raised four children, a girl and three boys. Iona was the last of her generation. Her irrepressible, irreplaceable kind sweet spirit will be missed hereafter. A memorial service will be held at 2:00 PM 7 March 2015 in the Olpin Family Mortuary Chapel 494 S 300 E, Pleasant Grove, Utah with internment in the Pleasant Grove City Cemetery. Wood Sr., Ronald M. - Murray  
7/25/1934 ~ 2/27/2015 Ronald M. Wood, Sr., age 80, passed away in Woods Cross, Utah. He was born in Boise, Idaho to Alma Mosiah Wood and Wealthy Sophia Hansen. Ron married Norma Fay Wood April 26, 1951 in Union, Utah; their marriage was later solemnized in the Salt Lake LDS Temple. After the death of his beloved wife, Norma, he found a friend and companion in Blanche Brown. Ron was a quiet, unassuming man. He had a real talent in auto body repair and painting. He had a great love for his family. This gentle man will be missed by all who knew and loved him. Survivors: Companion, Blanche Brown; sons and daughters, Ronald Wood Jr. (Sandra), Matthew Wood, Debbie Burgess (Rick), Randy Wood (Gloria), Pam Wilson (Lee), Jeff Wood (Lisa), John Wood, Raven Hansen (Chris), Ben Wood (Stacey); 39 grandchildren; numerous great-grandchildren; one sister, Yvonne Pizorno; and many nieces and nephews. Preceded in death by wife, Norma; parents; 7 brothers; and 7 sisters. Funeral services will be held Saturday, March 7, 2015, at 1 p.m. at Jenkins-Soffe Mortuary, 4760 So. State Street. Barbara D. Wilcken Grammy / Grandma Grapes Barbara D. Wilcken passed away March 1, 2015 in Murray, UT. She was born March 28, 1934 in Utahn, UT to Victor J. and Melissa S. Housekeeper Kofford. She married her sweetheart, Hal Wilcken on June 29, 1949; he preceded her in death in 2001. Barbara loved spending her summers at their property in North Fork. She enjoyed playing in the "dirt", quilting and crocheting. Barbara had a great love for her grandchildren and great-grandchildren. She is survived by her children, Leon (Fiona), Vickie Barela, Peggy (Larry) Shell and Al (Esther); 12 grandchildren; 15 great-grandchildren; brother, Curt; and sisters, Florene, Rhoda and Millie.
