Jody Davis 1957 ~ 2015 Jodie Davis, 57, of Salt Lake City, Utah passed away March 23, 2015. She was born May 20, 1957 in Salt Lake City to Gordon W. Davis and Shirley Snell Day. Jodie is survived by her mother and step father, Shirley & Leon F. Day; 3 children, Brandon (Marty Jo) Davis, Megan Sandoval, and Brett (Josie) Hymas; 3 grandchildren, Allyssa, Cassie, and Breanna; sister, Carrie (Jorge) Herrera; and brother, Bill Davis. She is preceded in death by her husband, Steven Bridge; father, Gordon W. Davis; and sister, Kim Christiansen. Dodge, George Lloyd - West Jordan  
"Papa Dodge" George passed away very peacefully on March 28, 2015 at his home. He was born in Ucon, Idaho on October 15, 1928 to Myrtle Lake and Lloyd Baxter Dodge. George attended school in Fountain Green and Ephraim, Utah; while working on various farms. In 1947 George joined the Navy and served during the Korean War. He married his sweetheart Mary Ellen Fritz on May 31, 1958. Their marriage was later solemnized in the Salt Lake LDS temple. George worked for many years with the Toole Army Depot where he later retired in 1991.George was a very active person. He loved traveling, camping, fishing, gardening, woodworking, remodeling projects, collecting stamps and cancelled envelopes with his beloved wife Mary. George was a lifelong active member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. He was preceded in death by his wife Mary, parents, brother, Ray; sister, Marie; his niece, Jolene and his nephew, Lee. George is survived by his stepdaughter Sherry (James) Stringfellow, step son, Lewis A. Harrington, 10 grandchildren, 13 great-grandchildren and 12 great great-grandchildren and many nieces and nephews. Graveside services will be held on Wednesday April 1, 2015 at 11:00 a.m. at Redwood Memorial Mortuary and Cemetery, 6500 South Redwood Road. A viewing will be held on Tuesday from 6 to 8 p.m. at the mortuary. In lieu of flowers the family has asked that you make donations to a charity of your choice.

Draney, Derek - Murray  
1984 ~ 2015 Salt Lake City-Late Thursday P.M. Derek Tyler Draney slipped the surly bounds of earth, reached out his hand and touched the face of God. He had the heart of a warrior and the soul of a poet. He graduated from Hunterdon H.S., Lebanon, NJ where he played varsity football. He attended Raritan Valley College and Salt Lake Community College. He loved all outdoor sports and was passionate about hunting and fishing. He adored his younger siblings Jason and Allison, his Grams Meriel, his nephew James, and his parents Bill and Mayvonne, all of Salt Lake City. Now we all await, renewed with grace… Your gentle touch… Your warm embrace… The forever promise of your youthful Face! Oh gentle warrior, you are deeply loved!
