Christopher Matthew Hanna

June 9, 1975 ~ April 20, 2013
Christopher was born in Colorado and spent his formative years there and in Utah. He was a graduate of Taylorsville High School before attending the University of Utah, where he earned a degree in fine arts. A talented artist in several mediums, Christopher became a graphic artist, most recently working with the design team at Great American West. He loved films, music, friends and family. Christopher will be remembered for his talent, his smile and his wicked sense of humor. But most of all…he'll be remembered for his kindness and tolerance toward others.
Christopher is survived by his parents, Rae Hoyt and Jeff Hanna; stepparents Matraca Berg and Bill Hoyt; sisters Kathryn (Jared) Page, Taylor (Jimmy) Russell, Lauren Hoyt and Jennifer (Eric) Czechanski; brothers Jaime (Dorian) Hanna and Mark (Chelsey) Currey; and his dear fiancée, Brittany Searle. He also leaves behind a number of beloved aunts and uncles (official and unofficial), cousins, nieces and nephews, and a beautiful extended family, including friends and co-workers. He will be greatly missed by all of us.
In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the Huntsman Cancer Research Center in Christopher's name.
Eternal peace and love to you, Christopher.
