Cleia Schow Barrett left this earth on Sept. 10, 2013 of causes incident to living a rich, full life. She was born on Jan 1, 1925 in Escalante, Utah. She and her sister Gaya were the daughters of Lera and Corine Heaps Schow. She moved to Salt Lake to attend LDS Business College. While working at the state capitol she met Richard J Barrett while she was on a date with someone else. He stole her heart and she went to work the next day at the Driver's License Division and checked to make sure he was older than she. This was the beginning of a 66 year romance. They put on many musicals in their Bellevue Stake. We will miss Mom/Grandma, especially her language of love. (Beach towels or crystal, anyone? A piece of music or a book?) She is survived by her husband, Richard J Barrett and children Brett (Ruth) Barrett, South Jordan, Colett (Bruce) Judd, of Ruston, Washington, Kirt (Lynn) Barrett, of Bellevue, Washington, and Suzett (Dan) Taggart of Edgewood, Washington.
