Daniel Charles Mitchell

Daniel Charles Mitchell, 79, passed away on December 31, 2012 in Payson, Utah, of a lung infection.
He was born on May 11, 1933, the son of Gilbert E. Mitchell of Lehi and Mabel Harriet Checketts of Tremonton.
He drove truck in Payson, Arizona and later for H. C. Davis in Provo. He has been a senior companion for years and forever helping others. Served in the US Army during the Korean Conflict from 1953-55. He raised his children and four stepchildren.
Survived by his children; Sindy McMillan, Becky Mitchell, Dana Ravetto Grams, Danny Mitchell, 33 grandchildren, several great-grandchildren, siblings; Virginia Porter, Frank (Shauna) Mitchell, Roger (Peggy) Mitchell, sister-in-laws Lola Mitchell, Miriam Mitchell, brother-in-law James E. Kidd.
Preceded in death by his parents, siblings, Leonard, Ben, Albert, Dorothy and Kenneth.
Funeral services will be held Saturday, January 5, 2013 at 1:00 p.m. in the Wing Mortuary Chapel, 118 East Main, Lehi, Utah. A viewing will be held Saturday morning from 11:00-1:00 p.m. prior to services. Interment, Lehi City Cemetery. Military Honors by the VFW. Online guest book at wingmorutary.com.
