Earl Maxon Davis(1944 - 2014)

1944 - 2014
Our loving husband, father, grandpa, brother, uncle and friend passed away April 11, 2014. He was 69 years old. Earl was born in SLC, Utah to Vada Thornton and Erton Ray Davis on August 20, 1944. He was the youngest of seven children. He married the love of his life, Erna Karoline Boettcher, on November 14, 1963. They had just celebrated their 50th wedding anniversary together. Together, they had one daughter Cindy who was his baby; he loved her so much. Earl had two grandchildren, Kaden (his big guy) and Jaylee (Jaybird) who he enjoyed spending time with and loved with all his heart.
Earl was a custom furniture upholster for 50 years. He loved his sports, taking care of his home and his yard, his 1973 Ford Truck and most of all his family. He could do and fix anything and was always there to help you in anyway. He brought joy to people around him and he was a friend to all that he would meet. He will be dearly missed by his family and friends, and leaves a hole in our lives forever that can never be filled. We love you!
He is survived by his loving wife of 50 years, Erna, his daughter Cindy (Rich) Maloney, and his two grandchildren Kaden and Jaylee, brother Buddy, sister June (Richard) Shuster, numerous nieces and nephews, and his little dog Bailey who was his joy. Preceded in death by his parents and four sisters.
