Fidolino Cordova

1929 ~ 2013
Fidolino Cordova, died on January 18, 2013, in the IHC Hospital, in Murray, surrounded by his family. He was born on April 17, 1929 in Chamisal, New Mexico to Tranquilino and Sofia Cordova.
Phil, as he was known, served honorably in the Korean War for two years, Retired from Kennecott Copper after 39 years of service. Aside from doing his favorite thing, fishing and hunting, he always took the time to keep in touch with all his family.
Phil is survived by one daughter, Tina (Jim), two sons, Phil (Arsenia) and David (Lucinda), four grandchildren, two great grandchildren. Four brothers, Jose (Frances), Ernest (Tillie), Tranquilino, and Roy Cordova (Helen). Two Sisters, Connie Duran (Raymond) and Frances Armijo, special friend of the family, Ramoncita Fresquez.
Preceded in death by Parents, sisters, Ida Cambron (Glen) and Nieves Marquez (Arthur). Brothers, Juan Benito, KIA in the Korean War, Abelino, and Horacio (infant), Numerous nephews and one niece. Sister-in-law, Mabel.
A viewing will be held at Saint Frances in Kearns, on January 21, from 6:00 pm to 7:00 pm, followed by a rosary. Services will be held on the 22nd at 11:00 am, viewing one hour prior to Service. Interment will be at the Redwood Memorial Estates.
