Janice Jensen

1958 ~ 2013
Our beloved little sister, Janice R Jensen, 54, died May 27, 2013 of dementia and symptoms related to stroke. She was the 6th child born to M. Don and Leone Richardson Jensen on July 13, 1958. Janice was God's gift to our family. She was a member of the LDS Church and loved her Savior Jesus Christ. She was a child of downs syndrome and loved her association with the Special Olympics and Camp "K". She will be remembered for her love of music, her artistic nature, and all people. Her favorite subject was her Birthday.
She attended Jordan Valley School and South Valley Training Company. Our thanks go to all her friends and staff at the workshop-you enriched her life. A special thank-you to Iva and Lou Ann. She loved you all dearly. Also, a special thank-you to Katea Fangupo and family for their loving care the last 5 months.
She is survived by her mother Leone, and sisters: Dianne Beutler, Marilyn (Lynn) Monson, Kristine (Paul) Monson, Marianne (Robert) Breitenbeker. She was predeceased by her father Don and brother Alan.
A viewing will be held Saturday, June 1, at the Midvale 4th Ward, 7825 So. Olympus St., Midvale, 11 a.m. to noon, with graveside service following at the Midvale City Cemetery, 471 W. 7600 So. (6th Ave.).
