1949 ~ 2013
Joel Eric Ebert, 64, left this mortal existence on April 28, 2013 to be embraced in the loving arms of his Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ.
Joel was born in Iowa City, IA to S. John & Ede Ebert who preceded him in death along with his brother James W. Ebert. He is survived by his brother John F. Ebert and family of Little Falls, MN.
Joel enjoyed family adventures with the Iowa Mountaineers, an organization his parents started. He served in the U.S. Army
in Germany and lived most of his life in Salt Lake City, UT.
Joel had a zeal for life, living several years beyond what the Doctors thought he would, given his severe Rheumatoid Arthritis and Cancer. He showed us all.
Joel had many friends from around the country as well as in Salt Lake City who loved and supported him over the years through letters, cards and acts of service. He spoke often of his sincere gratitude for all of you.
He wished to thank the staff at Superior Home Health Care and Hospice for the wonderful care they provided him over the years.
Joel will be interned at the Minnesota Veterans Cemetery at Camp Ripley near Little Falls, MN.
