John David Krinke, 52, beloved son, much loved brother, uncle and friend, passed away May 30, 2014 in Sandy, Utah. Born to Vern and Betty Krinke November 3, 1961 in Bowman, North Dakota. John served proudly in the U.S. Navy.
Graduated from Westminster College with a nursing degree, John was an RN at Intermountain Medical Center. John was a man of many facets, a true Renaissance man. He loved art, music, wrote some poetry, and was an avid fan of all things motorcycle including the Free Riders Club. John loved cooking, and never turned down any great Norwegian ethnic food.
John is survived by brothers Glen (Robyn) Krinke, Eagle Mountain, Utah and Grant Krinke, Sandy Utah and sisters Mari Stilinovich, Midvale, Barbara Woolf, Salt Lake City, Jane (Jeffrey) Gershman, Virginia, Lise (Paul) Freeman, Evanston, Wyo., numerous nieces and nephews and extended family and friends, and very special friend, Ali Melle, who loved him dearly. He was preceded in death by his parents and a brother, Hjalmar Krinke.
Gathering to be held at Goff Mortuary, 8090 South State, Midvale, Utah on Friday, June 6, 2014 at from 6-8 p.m. Memorial services will be held on Saturday, June 7 at 11:00 a.m. at Salt Lake Christian Center at 698 E. 4181 South, Salt Lake City, UT 84010.
