John Robinson Call

John (Jack) Robinson Call was born on December 1, 1923 to William Odell Call and Bertha Diana Robinson Call. He died peacefully on January 17, 2014. He married Stella Lorraine Bekker in the LDS Salt Lake Temple on December 8, 1943.
He served in World War II as a gunner and tank commander. He graduated from the University of Utah in Civil Engineering in 1950. Stella died unexpectedly on May 28, 1975. He then married Betty Louise Haacke Winegar in the LDS Salt Lake Temple on October 2, 1975.
Jack is survived by his children: Cheryl (DeMonte) Pierce, Jan Fisher, Debbie (Van) Stosich, and Jackie (Steve) Duerden; his step-children, Bruce (Karen) Winegar, Brian (DeLee) Winegar, Val (Pam) Winegar, Greg, (Leola) Winegar and Alice (Lee R.) Murdoch; many grandchildren and great grandchildren.
Funeral services will be held at 11:00 a.m. Saturday, January 25, 2014, at the Bountiful 2nd Ward Chapel, 650 S. 200 E. Bountiful, UT, with a viewing from 9:45-10:45 a.m. prior to the services. Family and friends may also attend a viewing on Friday, January 24, 2014, from 6-8 p.m. at Russon Brother's Mortuary, 295 N. Main, Bountiful. Interment will be at Bountiful City Cemetery.
