Keith B. Dimick(1928 - 2014)

1928 ~ 2014
Our loving husband, father, grandfather and brother Keith B. Dimick passed away peacefully in his home on February 11, 2014. He was born on April 15, 1928 in Bountiful, Utah to Blanchard H. and Esther Dimick. He graduated from Cyprus High School and proudly served in the United States Navy. He married his sweetheart Maxine Rose Whittaker on October 9, 1952. The two had five children and lived in the same home in Magna, Utah for 61 years. For 40 years, he worked as the lead electrician at Kennecott Copper. His hardworking attitude was balanced by his gentle kindness and even temper. He was an active member of the LDS Church serving in many callings that inspired all those who interacted with him. He loved camping, working in his shop and playing trains with his grandkids. Grandpa loved to tell stories, spend time with company and go to breakfast with his buddies. His warm smile, deep laugh and strength made everyone around him feel safe and comforted. All of his family, neighbors, friends and ward members will miss him.
He is survived by his wife Maxine, children Craig Dimick, Patti Holman, Nanette (Dennis) Nicholls, Cory (Wendy) Dimick and Robbie Dimick, his brothers Merrill (Myrle) and Boyce (Lorraine), his eight grandchildren and 11 great-grandchildren. He is preceded in death by his parents, sister Lois Egan and son-in-law Dean Holman.
