Kristina Kangas Davis
Magna, Utah-Kristina Jean Kangas Davis, 41, loving mother, wife, sister, aunt, niece, cousin, friend and teacher passed away unexpectedly from natural causes on Friday February 28, 2014.
Kristina was the youngest of three children born to James D. Kangas and Katherine S. Fernandez in McCall Idaho. She grew up in Murray, Utah and graduated from Murray High School. She married Johnie C. Davis April 29, 1994 in Aiken, SC and together they had three beautiful children who she loved with all of her heart. Kristina was an amazing, beautiful woman who found humor in everything and had the ability to share it with everyone who was near. She was the life of the party, loved by many, and a huge void has been left behind. Generous to a fault she was never one to give up on anyone. She took in her children's friends when they needed a place to stay. She loved to travel and during her short life had traveled the US, Japan and South Korea. Kristina was currently working at South Valley School where she was a teacher's aide for the past 14 years. She volunteered for the Special Olympics
for her students. Notorious for always being late, sadly she left us too soon. A hole has been left in all of our hearts. She told her daughter to "Live life to the fullest because life is too short". Until we see you again - we love you "Krusty".
She is survived by her husband and their three teenage children: Anthony (Maddison), Cody & Olivia, her sister Racheall (Doug) Martin, her brother James Kangas, her nieces Isabella & Megyn and her nephew Austin along with many honorary nieces and nephews. She is preceded in death by her mother and father.
A Visitation will be held Wednesday, March 5, 2014 from 5:00PM - 7:00PM followed immediately by a Memorial Service at Jenkins-Soffe South Valley, 1007 W. South Jordan Parkway, (10600 So.) South Jordan, UT. A pre-service open house will be held from noon - 4:00PM at the home of Racheall & Doug Martin. Condolences for the family can be sent to www.jenkins-soffe.com
