Louise P. Densley, 78, passed peacefully away April 28, 2013 as her husband lovingly held her hand and her family looked on. Born May 28, 1934 to Earl and Daisy Poor. Louise enjoyed a rich and rewarding life. She married her teenage sweetheart DeLoy C. Densley nearly 60 years ago in the Salt Lake Temple for time and all eternity . Louise raised 4 children who are grateful to call her mother. She taught elementary school for 27 years and served in many positions in the LDS church. She and her husband served 2 church missions and in the temple. She is survived by her husband, her children Kip (Shelli), Bif (Karen), Dix (Jane), JaNan Himmer (Dale), 20 grandchildren, 13 great-grandchildren, and sisters Lorraine Hamilton and Earlene Wright. Preceded in death by her parents and brother, Golden Poor.
Services will be held on Monday, May 6, at 11:00 a.m. at the River Ridge 7th Ward building, 10124 S. 1300 W. Viewings will be held on Sunday, May 5, from 6:00-8:00 p.m. and also on Monday from 9:30-10:45 a.m. prior to services at the ward. Interment at Herriman City Cemetery.
