Max R. Hunting

1929 ~ 2013
Max R Hunting, 84, died Sunday, November 10, 2013 in Lehi at his home. He was born January 29, 1929 in Vernal, Utah to Earl Everett Hunting and Phyllis Pearl Williams.
He married Lela Hacking July 4, 1950 in Roosevelt, Utah. Max served in the Korean War in the 50th Army Battalion as the Battery C Squad Leader. He was a Boiler Maker/Pipe Fitter for 35 years, 17 of those years he worked for Kennecott.
Survived by his wife Lela of Lehi; one son and two daughters; Boyd Hunting, ReNae (Alden) Yates, LaNae (Kyle) Zimmerman; 10 grandchildren, 15 great-grandchildren; one sister and three brothers; Minnie Schulthes, Oren, Dell and Allen Hunting, Vernal, Utah.
Funeral services will be held Saturday, November 16, 2013 at 12:00 Noon in the Wing Mortuary, 118 East Main, Lehi. A visitation will be held one hour prior to the service. Interment, Lehi City Cemetery. Online guest book at
