Michael Endo

1961 ~ 2013
Michael George Endo tragically lost his life in an airplane accident that occurred in Paris, TX on January 12, 2013. He was born in Ogden, UT on September 11, 1961. Michael earned his B.S. in finance at the University of Utah and worked as a mortgage banker for nearly 25 years. He was Senior Vice President of Marketing and Sales at Celtic Bank at the time of his accident. He was married to Karen Turner and together had two sons, Keaton and Devin. He later married Cindy Garrigues.
Michael is predeceased by his first wife, his mother Fumiko Bradley and his elder son Keaton. He is survived by his wife Cindy, son Devin, stepson Adam and his wife Amber, sister Julie, brother Steven and his wife Nathaly, their two sons Dominick and Dylan, father George and stepfather Norman. Michael is also considered an adopted son and brother of the family of Sachiko Reschke and is survived by Charles and Lisa, Trish and Deko.
He enjoyed life to its fullest. He was a thrill seeker, engaging in such hobbies as flying, parachuting, paragliding and rock climbing. His other hobby was hiking with Cindy and their dog Shilo. He also loved traveling and visited foreign countries with friends. Michael and Cindy also traveled extensively and had plans to visit France later this year.
Michael had many friends. He has been variously described as charitable (having donated 4 gallons of blood to Red Cross), generous with time and money, gregarious, caring, sensitive, forgiving, playful and a bit of a tease.
Services will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Saturday, January 19, 2012 at Larkin Sunset Gardens, 1950 East 10600 South in Sandy. A visitation will be held from 12:00 noon to 1:45 p.m. prior to the services. Online condolences welcomed at www.larkincares.com.
In lieu of flowers, Michael would have wanted donations made to Primary Children's Hospital.
