Bountiful, UT-Michael passed away September 8, 2018. He was born to Saverio Don Occhipinti and Virginia (Rima) Occhipinti on April 1, 1943 in Cheyenne, WY. Michael graduated from Tooele High School in 1962 upon graduation he joined the Marines in 1964. After his Military service he became a Meat Cutter and managed at many stores and received many honors for his leadership. Michael married Nancy Stanley on December 25, 1977 in Las Vegas. He went on to open an antique shop that he owned. He was an avid fisherman and outdoorsman. He is preceded in death by his parents and a sister, Carmela Coons. He was survived by a brother, John Occhipinti and 3 sisters, Donna Kushlan, Rosemarry Montgomery and June Helling also his wife Nancy. The Graveside service for Michael will be held Wednesday, September 12, 2018 at the Memorial Lakeview Cemetery. A viewing will be held 1 hr. prior at Memorial Lakeview Mortuary (1640 E Lakeview Dr., Bountiful). There will be a reception following the service at 5:00 PM at the residence of Talitha and Mike Kushlan JR (1996 E 4675 S, Holiday, UT. On line condolences may be posted at www.Memorialutah.com
