In Loving Memory
Mitchell Syvert Hayden, 91, Beloved Husband, Father, Grandfather, Brother and Friend returned home to his Heavenly Father on Wednesday October 24, 2012.
He was born January 19, 1921 in Murray, Utah to Mitchell and Lottie Schultz Hayden. He proudly served his country in the Navy during World War II. He married the love of his life Audrey Nelson on December 21, 1946. Later solemnized in the Salt Lake City LDS Temple, June 1965. Bud and Audrey had four wonderful children, and he cherished every moment he spent with his family and friends. He loved camping, fishing, golfing, music and traveling. He was a man of compassion, strength, integrity and had a great sense of humor. He was loved and adored by all who knew him. Bud will be remembered in our hearts forever. He spent his entire professional career as a Salesman for Bennetts Paint and Glass.
He is survived by his second loving wife Eloise Peterson Hayden, brother Reed Hayden, Northridge, CA, daughter Kathy Lee, Salt Lake City, UT, sons Kent, Sandy, UT, Kerry, Los Angeles, CA, grandson Brandon, Sandy, UT. Preceded in death by wife Audrey Nelson Hayden, son Kevin, sisters Anna Turner and Janice Booth.
Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. on Friday, November 2, 2012 at the Redwood Memorial Mortuary, 6500 S. Redwood Rd. A viewing will be held from 6-8 p.m. on Thursday, November 1, 2012 at the mortuary, as well as one hour prior to the services.
