Norman Blaine Greenwood

1930 ~ 2013
Hi this is a small note to my family and friends. Storming Norman, here to tell you 83 years have swiftly passed by. I was tired and helped by Acute Myeloid Leukemia, I knew it was time for me to join my dad Paul, mom Norene, siblings Gerald, Joan, Kathy, and David; my in-laws Legrand and Louise McDonald , and brother -in- law Tom Cowley. What a great reunion! I didn't want to leave my sweetheart of almost 63 years Janice or my dear sons Michael (Sharon), Ryan (Jamie), and my sweet daughter Shaun. I will miss my sisters Dixie Meadows (Dwaine) and Sharon Cowley and my many special extended family and friends. I was a quiet guy of few words, but I loved you all, I know that families can be together forever and I know we will see each other again. I went to Jordan High School (a good Old Beetdigger). I always said I wanted to be a hermit! Then I met Janice and the rest is history. We were married in the Salt Lake Temple. I tried to serve the Lord the best I could. I had 2 sons, 1 daughter, 7 grandchildren and 15 great grandchildren .We did good! I joined the Naval reserves at 17 and was drafted in to the Army at 20 (Korean Conflict), came home went to school and started Greenwood Heating. I loved tomato sandwiches so I always planted tomatoes. I liked western movies and books, and to play spider solitaire on the computer. I had great times with family and friends as we went camping, fishing, boating and vacationing. I am now on a new adventure. As Porky Pig would say, "That's all Folks!" Love Norm.
