Pauline Rose Root

1926 ~ 2013
On July 20, 2013, Pauline once again found peace after many struggles with her family by her side.
She is survived by brother, Armand Proulx; children, Diane and Steven; grandchildren, Stephanie, Christopher, and T. J.; and greatgrandson, Evan. She was preceded in death by her parents; husband and World War II veteran, Ray W. Root.
Pauline was born in Newton Falls, NY, on January 25, 1926 to Adrian and Melvina Proulx. She was passionate about the Utah Jazz and Denver Broncos and never missed a game. She would probably joke that she now has the best seat in the house.
Pauline requested no services or fanfare, and preferred to be remembered simply by giving thoughts and prayers. She was deeply spiritual and believed she was going back into the arms of God. Her motto was "It doesn't matter what the final score is in the game, give it everything you've got and you'll always end up winning.' Online condolences at
