Pearl A. Regenhardt(1924 - 2014)

Pearl A. Regenhardt
12/31/1924 ~ 4/4/2014
Pearl Aleta Hartley Regenhardt passed peacefully into paradise on April 4, 2014, into the waiting arms of her husband and many other loved ones.
Pearl was born December 31, 1924 to Robert Hartley and Fern Aleta Rinker in Niagara Falls, New York. She worked briefly at the Shredded Wheat factory in Niagara Falls before marrying the love of her life, William Bruce Regenhardt, on May 25, 1946.
Pearl and Bill adopted two children at birth, Linda and Bruce. Pearl believed in being a stay at home mom. She was an excellent mother, excelled at cooking, and kept her home neat and organized. Pearl had great artistic talents and enjoyed painting in oils, water colors, and china painting. She had a beautiful singing voice and loved to dance. She learned to drive when she was 41 years old. Pearl also enjoyed the Eastern Star organization with her husband, where they made many friends.
Pearl invited LDS missionaries into their home in 1967. This one decision has blessed her family's life eternally. Pearl and Linda were baptized in a swimming pool in 1967.Bill joined ten years later and the family was sealed in the Salt Lake Temple in 1978. Pearl served faithfully in many callings. She loved her visiting teaching callings. She was a feisty New Yorker who spoke her mind, but she was loving, kind and generous.
Pearl is survived by a sister, Carol Lucas, of Batavia, New York. She is also survived by her children, Linda (David) Wilde and Bruce Regenhardt; grandchildren, Nate (Alesa), Aaron (Lyndsie), April Despain (Tony) and Nicole Wilde, and Gabriel, Keanu and Nainoa Regenhardt. Also, great-grandchildren, Kayla, Brighton, Eli and Brooklyn. Pearl dearly loved her family and thoughtfully prepared Christmas and birthday gifts for all.
