Ralph Hyrum Putscher passed away April 24, 2013 surrounded by his loving family.
Ralph was born July 10, 1934 in Salt Lake City, Utah, son of Paul Otto and Ella Frieda Lucas Putscher. Married his sweetheart, Virginia "Jeanie" Nalley December 21, 1954 in Dallas, Georgia; solemnized December 21, 2008 in the Jordan River Temple. Served his country as a paratrooper in the 82nd Airborne during the Korean War. He worked for Commercial Shearing and Stamping and later retired from YESCO. Loved his workshop, yard and gardening.
Survived by his wife; son, Mark (Alayna); daughter, LeAnn Hoyt; 10 grandchildren; 5 great-granddaughters; sisters, Ruth (Robert) Nunley, Dottie Wilkerson and Shirley Bishop. Preceded in death by parents; sister, Sandra; brothers, Paul and Gary; granddaughter, Tiffini; grandson, Tyler; son-in-law, Bill Hoyt.
Funeral services will be held Monday, April 29, 2013, 11:00 a.m. at the Taylorsville Gardens 1st Ward, 4252 Bennion Road (1905 W.). Viewings will be held Sunday, April 28, 2013, 6-8 p.m. at McDougal Funeral Home, 4330 South Redwood Road and Monday at the church, 10-10:45 a.m. Interment, Valley View Memorial Park.
