Richard Bunker(1933 - 2014)

Richard Dean Bunker 80, passed away Saturday February 22, 2014 at his home in Fillmore, UT. He was born October 10, 1933 to Owen Woodruff & Ruth Collier Robison Bunker. He was brother to Bill, Keith, Jill, and Stephen. He was a graduate of Granite High School and attended the University of Utah. He served in the Naval Reserves during the Korean War. He obtained his pilot license and loved to fly his Cessna 182 "The Gandy Buzzard." Richard was founder and owner of Paramount Office Supply, Montana Stamp and Dye Company, Deseret Ribbon Manufacturing and Warm Creek Ranch Cattle Company. His most notable invention led to the founding Dyna-Flex, a Corporation which revolutionized the newspaper industry. Those same innovations are used in printing processes today.
Dad is survived by his loving devoted wife Lawral S. Bunker and a colony of children, grands and greats! Lawral and Richard were sealed in the Manti Temple in 2003.
Funeral services will be Friday, February 28, 2014 at 11:00 am at the Fillmore Stake Center (25 South 300 E). Friends may call Thursday, February 27, 2014 From 6:00 to 8:00 pm at Olpin Stevens Funeral Home in Fillmore (55 W 200 S) and from 9:30 to 10:30 am prior to the funeral service. Interment will be in the Bunker Family Cemetery in Gandy, Utah. Services are under the care of Olpin Stevens Funeral Home. Online condolences can be expressed at
