Born January 3, 1948 to William (Bill) and Maxine Burch in Artesia, California. Growing up in California, Susan (Sue) loved the beach and would want to vacation there anytime she could from the beaches of California, Hawaii, Mexico, Puerto Rico and St Maarten. Sue could sit on the beach for hours.

She moved to Utah to work with a great orthopedic surgeon where she met her husband, Garve Walker while giving football physicals to the BYU football team.
Sue and Garve moved to Salt Lake City where she worked for the Jordan School District for the last 18 years as a Resource Teacher and Secretary at Sprucewood and Bell View Elementary respectively. Some of her proudest moments were working with the students and helping them progress. She was loved by all whom were touched by her instructions.
