Wilbeta (Billie) A. Hunter
1919 ~ 2013
Sandy, UT-Born in SLC to William Henry and Florence Gange Acocks; the youngest of 9 children, all of whom are deceased. Married Kenneth Littlefield, this union produced four children: Paul, Judy, Brent, and Keith. Married Stanley Vernon Hunter and gained two more children; Paul Wayne Hunter and Jolene Hunter Sartori. Both husbands predeceased her. All six children and their partners, numerous grandchildren, great grandchildren, and great-great grandchildren survive her.
Billie was a lifelong member of the Women of the Moose (WOTM), an auxiliary of the Loyal Order of Moose, Lodge 259 in Salt Lake City. She diligently served in many capacities in the SLC WOTM. She also went on to hold a national position in the WOTM, of which she was very proud. She was a special friend to many people and lived a life of charitable acts of kindness. She deeply loved all her children, step children and their families. Billie was loved and respected by all who knew her. She worked in food services all her life in many capacities, and her food was always delicious and of the highest quality.
She leaves a legacy of love and charity in the hearts of all her family and friends. Rest well Mom and Grandma.
Funeral Services will be held Saturday July 20, 2013, at 11:00 AM at Deseret Mortuary, 36 East 700 South, Salt Lake City, Utah. A viewing will be held one hour prior to the services at 10:00 AM. The family would like to thank Deseret Health at Crosslands and special aide, Paulette, as well as the kind people at Inspiration Hospice for the care of Billie in her last days.
