Rodney T. Parker passed away December 31, 2012 at his home.
Born December 1, 1941 to Alvin T. and Arlene E. Parker. Attended Murray High School. Served in the US Army. Retired from Star Brass Foundry after 40 years. Member of the Magna Gun Club. Past president of Bingham Midvale F.O.E.
Married Patsy Jean Clough, May 22, 1971. She passed away November 25, 1986. Married Laura Biddle, July 24, 1992.
Survived by his wife, Laura; step-children, Patrice James, Ruth McClees, Chris Biddle; siblings, Grant R. (Merna) Parker, Donna F. (Ron) Sisam, Lynn L. (Jean) Parker; nine grandchildren; 14 great-grandchildren; a great-great-granddaughter and many extended family members.
Preceded in death by his parents and sister, Edythe Walters and brothers, John and Gary; step-children, Melody Schuler and Kenneth Thompson.
Funeral services will be held Saturday, January 5th, 11:00 a.m. at Redwood Memorial Mortuary, 6500 So. Redwood Rd. A viewing will be held Friday evening from 6 - 8 p.m. at the mortuary and one hour prior to services on Saturday. Interment, Valley View Memorial Park.
