Richard K. Sollars

Salt Lake City, Utah-Richard K. Sollars, amazing father and grandpa died of natural causes on April 28, 2013 at Jordan Valley Hospital. Richard was the most generous, loving man his family and friends knew. He was an avid bowler and loved fishing. He was most loved by his many grandchildren. He was grandpa to everyone.
Richard was an iron worker for many years. He was a member of the Blackfoot Indian tribe, Browning, Montana. Richard was preceded in death by his loving wife Donna L. Sollars. He leaves behind 5 daughters, Debbie, Leslie, Melody, Sandi and Mikki and son Val Sollars. He also leaves behind many grandchildren. In his last 8 years of life he had loved and cared for a family that became like is own. Sarah Blunda, Lina Raiola Blunda, Paola Maria Raiola Blunda, Lorena and Phil Mortenson. Adopted grandchildren Rafeal Rivas Raiola, Paola Nicole Ortiz Raiola Steven Jose Ortiz Raiola, Luigi Raiola , Mellisa Mortensen and Sofia Raiola Blunda. Richard donated his eyes and gave sight to two people. He was always full of life and generosity. Cremation to take place April 30, 2013. Celebration to take place 3-4 weeks.
