I will always remember Brent Cederlof and his Celestial Family as a tremendous example to our entire Yalecrest Ward neighborhood. I remember walking by their home early in the morning and seeing them enjoying a family breakfast with scripture study. They always put the Lord first in their lives. This focus was evident in their radiant faces, educational pursuits and Christ-like service. What a beautiful legacy Brent and Wendy share that shines through their amazing children and grandchildren who are filled with purity, faith and devotion to the Savior.

Dearest Wendy,
Such a surprise to hear of Brent's passing. You two were such a loving pair, I'm sure this loss is so hard. And Dennis and I are hurting for you. We love you a lot and your friendship meant so much as we served in the Bountiful Temple with both of you. May the Lord bless and comfort you. Anita and Dennis Davis

Wendy, We are so sorry to learn of Brent's passing. You two have been such bright, enthusiastic servants in the Lord's Kingdom. I grew up in Garden Park Ward in Salt Lake City and Cederlof family lived right behind us and 1 or 2 houses down. My brother knew the family better than I did. I lost Lawrence (Larry) just this past June, he was my only sibling. I lived on Michigan Ave. and they lived on Herbert Ave.
I would like to extend my wishes to Brent's family.
Remember to thank our Heavenly Father for the Plan of Salvation and for the gift of love we all share.
May you find comfort through the gift of the Holy Ghost

I was so sorry to hear about Brent's passing. He truly was a great man. I haven't had much contact with in receient years, however I as a young man I remember him as being a gentleman. I have fond memories of sharing thoughts on classical music and discussing the merits of our favorite recordings. Although his passing is sad, in the grand scheme of things, he is only a split second ahead of the rest of us.
Best whishes to his family.
Sincerely, Ken Breinholt

Dearest Wendy & family,
What a surprise to receive this news about Brent. Wendy, I know you will deeply miss your best friend & companion. I send you my love and support.
Floods of Cederlof - Backman family memories come to mind with our time on Tannenweg in Germany in the 80's. I remember Brent's great love of opera, so what a thrill when we dressed up our children in their finest clothes and off we went to enjoy an opera together. His pleasant loving spirit & love for life was always present. One word completes the two of you - SERVICE.

Dear Wendy and Family,
Our hearts are breaking for you and for the world having lost such an exceptional man. We have always loved and respected you both for your spirituality and for the service you have given in the church and in the temples. Thank you so much for your friendship and your great examples to us. We are praying for you to have comfort especially on this day.

Dear Wendy and Family,
We so appreciate your example of celestial living. I remember jogging past your home on Herbert Avenue in the morning and seeing the light on in your dining room with your family gathered around the table for a delicious breakfast before morning scripture study. These priorities and memories of family unity will bring you great comfort during this time of transition. Soon you will be together again. You will always hold a special place in our heart. We fondly remember Bishop Cederlof's leadership, enthusiasm and compassion as our Bishop of the Yalecrest I Ward.
Love always,

Sister Cederlof,
we are saddened by your temporary loss of a great man. Your family has been a wonderful memory, and I am thankful to have been privileged to have known you. I still remember when we as youth got on the bad side of several of our neighbors after we destroyed some of their flowers, and Bishop Cederlof defended us by asking those neighbors whether they were sent to earth to raise flowers or children. He was a great example to us, and he has influenced our lives for good.
You are in our thoughts and prayers, and we sure love you and your family.

To The Cederlof Family,
I just wanted to tell you how sorry I was to hear about Brent. I used to work with him through the Materials Management Department when I was a secretary and he was an Area Manager for the South Pacific. He was such a great man. Any time he would call, it was always "how is your Mom and Dad, and your brothers." He was always concerned about how I was doing. I will miss our conversations and know beyond a shadow of a doubt that he is in a glorious place, free of pain, and enjoying a chat with Lynn Sorensen and Brother Carr. My prayers and thoughts are with you at this difficult time.
Sincerely, Jolyn Geigle

Dear Wendy and Family,
Our prayers and love go out to you and your family during this time of heartache and sadness. We were so saddened by this news. I will never forget both President Cedarlof's and your wonderful love and example while serving in the Palmyra Temple with both of you. May you find comfort and strength through this difficult time. I am so grateful for the time we shared together. May all of those wonderful memories help you through this, and may Heavenly Father's love and strength be with you all.

Dear Wendy and family,
We loved being your next door neighbors on Tannenweg and enjoyed having Brent as our very good bishop in Frankfurt. Those were grand days when all of our children were with us and we were enjoying the adventures in Europe in connection with our excellent work for the Church. I am proud to read about all of the wonderful temple service you and Brent have contributed in these recent years. I hope we have a chance to get together. Please pass on a greeting from all of the Backmans to your family.

Dear Wendy and family,
Our life was forever changed by the precious gift of the gospel that Brent and his companion brought to us in England in 1963. His missionary service has affected 4 generations of our family. We have wonderful memories of him in our home that we will always treasure. We pray that you and your family will feel comforted by those same teachings that your husband and father brought to us.
We regret not spending more time with you all over the years.
Much love from Mac, Shirley, Karen and the rest of the Lloyd family.

Dear Cederlof family,
Just six weeks ago Brother Cederlof sealed my husband and me in the Bountiful temple. Although our time with him was brief, I appreciate the kind words of counsel he gave us and his service in the temple.
Our condolences for your loss.

Dear Wendy and family,
You probably don't know me, but Brent and I were in school together from Douglas Elementary through East High and graduated together in 1960. I counted him as one of my close friends.
I believe that you and Brent lived in the 33rd Ward for a year or two when you were first married. That is my home ward. I lived in the Garden Park 2nd ward when I was first married in 1966, which I believe was Brent's home ward. Or he may have been in the Garden Park Ward.
I lost my first wife in 2004 and so can appreciate some of what you are feeling right now at the loss of your spouse. But, life goes on and I pray for and know that you will enjoy the comfort and peace that can only come from the Comforter.

Dear Wendy and family,
How blessed you all are and were to have so many years with a wonderful husband and father. He was interesting, he loved a debate, was active in living his life and loved his family so dearly. May the wonderful memories of his sharing and caring for you, help you thru your grief.

MY MEMORIES OF BRENT WERE AS A YOUNG MAN A MEMBER OF EXPLORER POST 14, GARDEN PARK WARD. AS THE EXPLORER POST ADVISER I HAD THE OPPORTUNITY OF HAVING BRENT'S FATHER AS OUR COMMITTEE CHAIRMAN. BRENT WAS A VERY SPECIAL YOUNG MAN. I'LL NEVER FORGET THOSE WONDERFUL YEARS WORKING WITH SUCH YOUNG MEN AS BRENT. MAY THE LORD BLESS BRENT'S FAMILY AND LOVED ONES AT THIS TIME.

Dear Wendy and Family,
With much sadness I read of Brent's passing. Please accept my deepest expressions of condolence. I know, Wendy, somewhat of the lonely road that stretches in front of you. It is not an easy walk, but it is not without its wonderful compensatory blessings. Heavenly Father does not leave us to wonder and question. Your faith with increase and you will be filled with peace and sweet assurance.
My mind was flooded with pleasant memories of you, Brent, and your family. Germany was a richer experience for us because you were part of it. Certainly, you role in my courtship of Joni was most important. Our visit in Palmyra and your generosity will always be special to the two of us.
May the Lord bless you abundantly in these days of farewell and parting.
