Oh, I just heard from Sylvia Cox and was so very sad to hear of your loss. I remember her so well as my Dorthy of Oz. You have been in my heart and prayers daily. Know we love and miss you all, you all added so much to my life. You don't need to be told, but
trust in Heavenly Father. How beautiful to know how much he knows and cares for His children. Eternal families are what is all about. All my love.

Dear Robert and Christi,
Even though we are very far away that doesn't mean we haven't been thinking about you and praying for you. Like you, we know that our Heavenly Father's peace and comfort is generously given, especially to wonderful people like you. Debbie was thankful that she was in town to be able to attend the lovely funeral. How she loves you, Christi!! We will continue praying for you and your family, trusting in the One who knows how to best help His children. We love you.

Dear Poll family, I did not know Celeste, but we do know Katy as she was one of our daughter Stacy's best friends a few years ago. If Celeste was anything like Katy, the world is missing a true artist who is probably working on the music for the second coming. I am lucky my husband survived a stage 4 non-hodgkins lymphoma but it was so difficult. May the comforter be with you and give you joy knowing she is out of pain and will be with you again.
With best love and wishes, Rochelle and Ken Symons

I was just wanted to say that i always admired Celeste and her unconditional kindness towards all and her ability to play the piano. She was my teacher and anyone that could handle me when i was younger deserves a medal. My favorite memory of Celeste was when i told her i wanted to marry her because she was pretty and the nicest girl i had ever met. Love you Celeste, you will be missed

Celeste was a dear friend to all! I first met her when I was having a down day and walked into the foyer in the apartment building I was living at up at Utah State. She was playing "Be Still My Soul" on the piano and it filled my soul with the love of God; she was the instrument that lifted my hands that hanged low. She continued to do lift me when we met once again as Oakcrest counselors. Always so positive and uplifting! She is an angel of angels, and I am so grateful for the impact she has had/will have on my life and on the eternities. Poll family, I am so sorry for your loss. But thank you for raising and sharing such an angel with the world.

For the last 4 month's I have had the privilege of supporting my sister Christi and the Poll family as Celeste has battled cancer. I have had a front row seat. Celeste was hospitalized again in January as the cancer had returned worse than when she was first diagnosed in July last year. She shared with many not to worry, that she had a witness at that time when she was SO SICK, that Heavenly Father told her she could stay or pass through the veil and go home to Him. She made the decision without hesitation, she wanted to stay. Her blog stated she was in a battle, it wasn't a war where someone has to loose. She was determined to keep fighting.
I was with her last Thursday morning about 3:30am when the Doctors proposed they put a breathing tube in because she was working so hard to breath and NOT getting enough oxygen. I woke Christi up to come and make the decision because I knew Celeste had experienced this before and it felt like the end. The Doctor assured Christi this didn't have to represent that. If they could control the infection they would be able to take the tube out. Celeste bravely agreed to the procedure with all her faith that she could still battle the worst case of lymphoma cancer one Oncologist Doctor said she had seen in years.
The next few days progressed with a tumor on her liver, her kidneys shutting down and her lungs only working because of the machine. If she started to come out of sedation she would become agitated wanting to ask why was she was losing the battle. Hadn't heavenly father told her it was her choice to stay or go home?????
Yes Celeste, He did witness that to you and YOU DID CHOOSE TO STAY instead of leave in January. But that didn't mean you would stay and live out your mortal life. He had a plan for your Celestial Spirit and that was to return to Him! Oh how we all miss your valiant, faithful, positive presence. But as we envision the reception you experienced on the other side of the veil with your Grandpa, we all rejoice at your freedom from the devastating disease!!!
You were named rightly, you are Celestial and your valiant life has inspired us all! You didn't lose sweetheart. You won the battle passing the mortal test and being rewarded for your life so pure that you got to go HOME!

Celeste my dear, you are already sorely missed. But I know Heavenly Father just gained one of his vest vocalists/pianists with a sense of humor. Thanks for making life such a joy - and enjoy Celeste making life joyful for others on the other side. My thoughts and prayers are with you and your family who is left behind.

I can not thank you enough for allowing me the honor of caring for Celeste and your family over the past month. I will never forget her. She had a strong spirit and had a special way of drawing those in to her. I will never again be able to watch Anastasia or Anne of Green Gables without thinking of her.
