Arlene Cleverly Obituary
Magna, Utah-Arlene Garlick Cleverly; had a sweet reunion with her husband August 19, 2012. She was born January 26, 1941 in Fountain Green, Utah to Ray & Maxine Bills Garlick. Arlene married Norton A. Cleverly December 1, 1961 in the Manti Temple. Arlene was very active in her church. She loved to read, listen to music and most of all be with her family. Arlene is survived by her daughters; Lauretta (Rich) Wayman, Kerry (Tim) Coulter, Susan (Casey) Philpot, sons; Greg (Tammie), Kevin (Rosanne), 16 grandchildren, 7 great grandchildren, 3 sisters, 1 brother, and many other family. She was preceded in death by her husband, son, Paul.
Funeral services will be held 11 am, Friday August 24, 2012 at Pleasant Green Ward, 8739 West 3000 South, Magna. Visitations will be at the church 6-8 pm, Thursday and 10-10:45 am Friday. Interment: Bountiful City Cemetery Condolences: www.peelfuneralhome.com

At times like this our hearts turn to families, for comfort. I did not know Arlene, but am a cousin to Norton A. Cleverly, her husband. Our ancestor was Samuel Willard Potts. He was a fireman in Salt Lake City in the early days. I believe I have a photograph of him in full uniform. Arlene was a wonderful cousin. Even though I have not seen her for quite a while she will most certainly be missed by everyone. I remember spending time at their house when we were young and they lived in Fountain Green. Take care lovely family.
