Born 5/28/55, Salt Lake City, to Phyllis Call and Frederick Bredthauer. Brad married the love of his life, Terry Lee Thomas aka "Chickie Baby", 10/6/78.
Survived by wife, Terry; daughters Jesica Brinton (Mark) and Contessa Bredthauer Ramsey (Travis); grandchildren; Rhett, Kade, Quinn and Luke Brinton, Teagan, Cambry and Chloey Ramsey and our Shaela; brothers Fred Dee Bredthauer (Jan), Dick Simpson (Linda); many nieces and nephews; and his "Grand-Dogger" Gracie. Preceded in death by his parents, grandparents and step-siblings Mike, Chuck and Kathy Simpson.
Brad graduated from Granite High, Class of '73. Later he attended Utah Technical College specializing in welding. He excelled in TIG welding using his skills to teach many others the trade after becoming a shop foreman.
An avid Steelers fan who loved football and the great outdoors including camping, fishing and golfing. Brad enjoyed spending time with his grandchildren, taking them for walks, holding baby Chloey and recently taught his grandsons to ice fish. He was an enthusiastic fan at little league games attending a baseball game just last week. Brads "perfect day" would be spent in the mountains fishing with his family or at Bear Lake.
A short grave-side service will be held Monday, June 4th at 1:00pm Salt Lake City Cemetery, 200 N Street.
