Brandon Alan Evans Obituary
Oct. 8, 1992 ~ Feb. 7, 2012
We write these words with a heavy heart that our first born son spent his final breaths along the hillside of 2600 E and 9400 S in Sandy Utah. At just 19 you sat overlooking the very city and neighborhood roads you grew up in. Brandon, every single person who met you commented on your incredibly wide smile and the sparkle of light that beamed from your eyes. Most never guessed by your ear to ear to grin that you suffered from your addiction demon "Slick." Slick worked very hard to make you believe you were you unloved and worthless. He is the master of lies and kept you searching all your days for a safe place to call home.
We know this was an accident and we also know how sorry you are for our grief right now. We find comfort knowing now that your fateful night was a series of misfortunate events and whether it be the drugs, or the fall or the freezing cold temperatures, that you were not alone while your angels guided you home where you are safe and warm and smiling forever.
Brandon is survived by his parents Robbie and Candice Evans, his brother and sister Noah and Savannah Evans. Grandparents Richard and Kay Eatmon, Joan and Jon Zielinski, Grandpa Bailey, God Mothers Jenny McPhee and Marilee Bitner, Uncles Randy Evans, Michael and Jonathon Eatmon and Jonathan Zielinski, Aunt Colleen Kondler and Samantha Maxwell and hundreds of amazing friends who love and miss him always.
A celebration of life service will be held today at South Mountain Community Church in Draper at 12411 S. 265 W. on Feb. 15th at 3:30pm.
