Brock, rest in peace! As I think of your gentle spirit joyfully reunited with a loving father and brother you didn't get the chance to know during your mortal journey, my sympathy goes out to family and friends who are left behind to grieve your loss.

It was an honor getting to know Brock over the last 12 years out at the Great Salt Lake. We always looked forward to his return in the summer.
This year however was different, Brock was sick, we could see it, but he just played it down, telling use the Doctors were telling him he just needed to change is diet. I tried to help put is boat away the day before he returned to Tennessee it totally wore him out, and i knew he wall sicker than he was letting on. Afterwords we reminisced about our days up at Antelope Island Marina and the cruises we'd done together. I kind of knew it was the last time i might see him, and I'm so thankful for that time i was able to spend with him.
So long old friend, may you always have a fresh breeze and following seas.

Dear Shane and entire, wonderful Andrus family,
I was shocked tonight, to hear of Brock's passing. Brock was my best friend, growing up (and later, my brother-in-law). He was truly one of the most gentle and sweet friends I've ever had. I'm so deeply saddened by this and my heart and love go out to all of you.

Brock and I were naughty boys together in Salt Lake City. He was the quietest (and least naughty) of the brothers and just a sweet guy. I'm sorry he's gone.

My Dear Joan,
I was so very shocked and saddened to learn of Brock's death. He was always so very kind to me and I enjoyed playing cards and socializing with him so much. If I were not traveling out of town I would be there with you for his memorial service. Please accept my heartfelt sympathy for you and the rest of the family at this time. Know that you are in my thoughts and prayers.
