1927 ~ 2013
Washington, UT, Charles Connell ("Con") Bell, - passed away on February 21, 2013 at his home surrounded by his family.
Con was born in Logan, Utah on August 20, 1927 to James Blaine and Lola Farrell Bell. He married Paula Obray on June 27, 1952 in the Logan, Utah LDS Temple.
He joined the Navy at the age of 17. He served in the South Pacific Islands, and also experienced the atomic testing at Kwajalein Atoll. Con worked for the Bell System of Telephone Companies for 38 years.
He is survived by his wife Paula and their four children: Charles Michael (Sabrina Laris); David Paul (Lori Savage); Rodney O. (Deanna Lutz); Baby Jimmy Bell (deceased); and Allison Bell Keltner (Jay); ten grandchildren and seventeen great-grand children with two more due soon. He is also survived by his brother J. Farrell Bell, of South Jordan Utah and a sister Kathryn Bell Spackman of Sunset, Utah. He is survived by many nieces, nephews and friends. He was preceded in death by: his parents; and a sister Glenna Bell Pinson Mathews.
Graveside services will be held at the Richmond, Utah Cemetery at 11:00 am on Wednesday, February 27, 2013. His friends and family are invited to attend a visitation that same day prior to the graveside service from 9:30 to 10:30 am at the Richmond 2nd Ward building, 150 S. 100 E. in Richmond, Utah.
