Claudia Crosland Obituary
Claudia M. Crosland, our dear mother, sister and aunt passed away peacefully surrounded by her son and siblings, Friday afternoon, May 5, 2017 in Salt Lake City. She was 67 years old.
Claudia was born February 21, 1950 to Rex and Phyllis Mae Crosland and grew up in Salt Lake City. She graduated from Skyline High School and later graduated with an English degree from Utah State University. She was a loving mother, daughter and sister who showed kindness and care to all whose lives she touched.
Early in her career, she worked for Utahns Against Hunger. She later moved to San Diego and became a successful business owner. She started Claudia's Cinnamon Rolls located at the Horton Plaza in downtown San Diego. Her mother taught Claudia how to make fabulous cinnamon rolls which she turned into a wonderful business. She later moved back to Salt Lake City to be near her parents and family.
Claudia adored her son, Dustin, and spoke of him often. She missed her parents after they passed away recently. She especially missed her mother and passed away on Phyllis' birthday-May 5.
Claudia is survived by her loving son, Dustin, siblings-Craig (Bonnie) Crosland, Jolynn (Rockwell) Schutjer, Jill (Bryan) Balli, Todd (Jill) Crosland and many nieces and nephews.
Claudia's life was celebrated in a private family gathering.
We will miss you Claudia but know that you are happy and with your parents and loved ones.

Claudia and I met in California and we learned to country dance, along with many other ladies at the Pomerado Club. We had so much fun!! My sympathy to the family, God Bless.

Dear Jolynn and family, I am sad to hear about Claudia's passing. I have good memories of spending time with her when I was growing up next door. The obituary was very tender and well written.I hope happy memories and the love of your family for each other will lift you up as you grieve. Take care.
