DesiRae Jepson Obituary
Our beautiful daughter and sister passed away at home on Saturday December 29. DesiRae was born in Gillette, Wyoming to L. Wesley and Jeannie Jepson. She was her dad's little "Grumpy Bear" and her mother's joy. She loved to learn, and graduated from Utah State University. While in school, she also became accomplished at American Sign Language. DesiRae fulfilled a lifelong dream of living in Alaska. While there, DesiRae became a certified counselor. She was also a professional truck driver and enjoyed it immensely. DesiRae returned to Utah due to health, and ultimately succumbed to these issues. DesiRae was loved by all who knew her and she considered everyone a friend. She was preceded in death by her father L. Wesley Jepson, and survived by her mother Jeannie Jepson, siblings Cody Jepson (Rosemary Sill), Casey (Christina) Jepson, Stacey Martinez (Mark Hudson), Meggan Youngblood, Bryant Jepson. The family would like to give a special thanks to all the medical professionals who provided great care for DesiRae in her last few years. Services will be held at Jenkins-Soffe 1007 W. South Jordan Parkway beginning at 1:00 pm on Friday the 4th of January. There will be a short viewing preceding the funeral at noon.
