GLADYS ALLGIER Obituary

Gladys E. Allgier "Beloved Mother" Gladys Ellingsworth Allgier, passed away August 27th, 2009, in Salt Lake City. Born January 26, 1922 to Ernest Ray and Alta Ferguson Ellingsworth, in Provo, Utah. Married Marvin James Allgier, he preceded her in death. Survivors, children, Lynn (Verna) Allgier, James F. Allgier, Richard (Myrla) Allgier, Carol (Tom) Hughes, Kathaleen Leiter, William (Deb) Allgier and Dale (Mickey) Allgier; 19 grandchildren; 41 great grandchildren and five great great grandchildren; sister, Sharon Collins. Preceded in death by her husband, Marvin; son, Russell Allgier; daughter, Alta Jean McFarland; grandsons, Wayne Allgier, Kenny Leiter and Michael Craig Allgier; son-in-law, Stan Leiter; daughter-in-law, Lydia Allgier; also by brothers and sister. Graveside services Monday, August 31st, 1 p.m. Salt Lake City Cemetery, 4th Ave and N Street in Salt Lake City where friends and family may call at the Larkin Mortuary, 260 East South Temple Street in Salt Lake City from 11 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. prior to the services.

To The Family of Glads,
I am so very sorry to hear about the passing of your Mom / Grandmother. I have alot of wounderfull memories of Aunt Glad and I know she was a good friend and sister to my Dad and Mom when the two of them was alive.I am sorry that I was unable to be at the services but if I can do anything to help any of you please let me know.
My deepest sympathies is with you all.
