I have often wondered what happened to Greg. He and I were great friends at the University of Utah. Over the years I have thought fondly of him many times, and wondered what happened to him. I tried to locate him on several occasions bus was unsuccessful. I fondly remember many adventures, especially when a certain song plays. Those were the days that I truly wish I could relive especially if could have them again with friends like Greg.
I lived on a Yacht in San Diego behind the East Tower Sharadon for many years. I wish I had known he lived there. It would have been a marvelous reunion.
I met Greg New Years Eve 1965. It was snowing hard, 18” of snow had accumulated on the roads, and it was just before midnight. I was trying to get home and noticed a Chevron Station that was open. I pulled in and Greg mounted my snow tires.
We talked for a while and he invited me to join him, Bob Howard, Randy (?), and Randy’s brother for a New Years adventure. I had a great time and we became fast friends and remained so for many years.
I have truly missed Greg for decades. He was a kind and loving person, and a great friend. I shall fondly remember him for the rest of my days, and, if all goes well, maybe we’ll meet again. May Angels watch over him, you, and all who knew him.
