To the Stephens Family:
I saw your mother's obituary online Sunday morning and it brought back many good memories of her and your entire family. A lot of years have slipped away and we've lost touch. I remember what fun Alene and I had together. We were neighbors just around the corner from you. Jan and Kim were little 'shavers'. I even remember your Grandma Stephens who lived on the corner & how we would go visit her. We share wonderful memories of the Tooele Second Ward (activities, plays, Ward choir, etc.) Our dads served in the Bishopbric together with Bishop Weyland. Susan and her sister, Kathleen used to take piano from my mother. I remember Susan dating Bisel in High School and looks like they married...all these things so many years ago but, good memories remain. Our parents have been gone at a much younger age than yours. Mom passed away last May (age 82); dad has been gone 10 years. I'm sure our folks are enjoying their association again and talking about the good 'ole times! I just wanted you to know that we are thinking about you with the loss of your mother. She was a beautiful lady.
