Hiram's younger years were spent in Standard, a coal mining camp in Carbon County, Utah. As a teenager he had a job on the tipple for the coal mine. Hiram served four years in the navy during World War II aboard a destroyer, the U.S.S. Keith.
After the war, he married Helen Biondich. She also was a long time resident of Carbon County. They have five beautiful and accomplished children; Melody (Steve) Beck, Louis, Larry (Becky), Diane (Mike) Leary, Sharon, five grandchildren and eight great grandchildren. Hiram loved spending time in the mountains. He and his family built a log home at Flaming Gorge where they spent many summers boating, water skiing and fishing.
Hiram was a master electrician for Utah Power and Light. Upon moving to Salt Lake City Hiram founded Seppi Electric Corporation where he was CEO and owner until he retired in 1987.
Hiram was known for his sense of humor, kindness, and willingness to help others. Special thanks to Dane and the folks at Brookdale Senior Living for the great and personal care.
