Kelly Fay Simons was born April 8, 1974, in Salt Lake City, Utah to Scott and Julie Simons. Kelly went to be with her Saviour Jesus Christ, the true Israel of God January 9, 2013. Kelly graduated from Granite High School in 1992, Honor Student, Art Editor of Year Book, and Lettered in Softball.
Kelly was an artist who enjoyed metal sculpturing, deep writing, unique art medias, and played bass guitar in her church worship services. She was loved by all that knew her, in all walks of life, and thought of all of her friends as family. Kelly's love and charity is known by all her cousins, aunts, uncles, friends and many that had her acquaintance. Kelly was preceded in death by one uncle, and both her grandfathers. She is survived by her mother, father, grandmothers, all her cousins, uncles and aunts.
Viewings will be held Tuesday, January 15, 2013, 6-8:00 p.m. and Wednesday 10-10:45 a.m., at Jenkins-Soffe Mortuary, 4760 South State Street, Murray. Funeral services will follow the Wednesday viewing, January 16, 2013 at 11:00 a.m. at Jenkins-Soffe. Interment will follow with a short graveside service at The Peoa Cemetery SR 32. Friends and family are welcome to gather for food and fellowship after at Elk Ridge, Kelly's parents' home just a short distance following the interment.
