L. Wesley Jepson Obituary
L. Wesley Jepson
May 1953 ~ April 2013
With broken hearts we publicly express our love and gratitude for our beloved Husband, Father, Brother, Grandfather and Friend who left his mortality behind him April 1, 2013.
While celebrating Easter, Dad passed away enjoying a motorcycle ride - which was an activity in his life that he loved and considered to be a blessing.
Dad was an active member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints and served his Heavenly Father every day of his life; he did so in many church capacities, including a two year mission in England. He returned home to Nephi, Utah where he met his loving wife Jeannie (Bryant), to whom he was married in the LDS Manti Temple on June 27, 1975 for time and all eternity.
When not working, Dad enjoyed reading, studying, singing, and escaping into the mountains or the sand dunes to "tear it up" on his toys and spend time with his family.
Dad is survived by his wife Jeannie, children Cody, Casey, Stacey, Meggan, DesiRae and Bryant, 8 grandchildren and his siblings Sherilynn and Wayne.
Dad is preceded in death by his parents Marion Wayne Jepson and Jane (Huffaker).
Funeral services will be on Saturday, April 6, 2013 at 11:00 am at the Ponderosa Ward, 240 East Interlochen Lane in Stansbury Park. Viewings will be held on Friday, April 5, 2013 from 6:00-8:00 pm at Jenkins-Soffe South Valley, 1007 W. South Jordan Parkway (10600 S), South Jordan, and on Saturday from 10:00-10:45 at the church. Interment at Vine Bluff Cemetery, 1250 North 400 East, Nephi at 2:30 pm Saturday. Online condolences at www.jenkins-soffe.com.
