Leah Mae Osborne Obituary
1926 ~ 2018
Was born to Harry E. and Eurilda O. Page May 24, 1926 and peacefully returned to her Heavenly Father June 29, 2018. Married and later sealed to Calvin G. Osborne, July 17, 1946, she enjoyed a wonderful life of 45 years together until his death August 10, 1991. They had 4 sons and two daughters: Craig (Christine), Brent (deceased), Scott (Denice), Kevin (Karen), Susan DeHaan (Scott) and Kelli Osborne Puckett (Jamie). She had 23 Grandchildren and 47 Great grandchildren.
She worked professionally as a bookkeeper at the Utah State Prison and later at Osborne's Engineering Supply until her retirement.
Leah was a lovely and gracious woman who left a legacy of Faith, a thankful Spirit, and her cherished posterity. Never a complainer, she was always first to smile and say, "Thank You" no matter the circumstances. She was loved by all who knew her.
A devoted member of the , she served faithfully in a variety of Stake and Ward callings and truly enjoyed working with those whom she served.
One of her greatest joys, besides her family, was her years of service in the temple. In addition to serving those who've past on before, she could also be found attending, in the front row, all her children's and grandchildren's ordinances.
She truly was a genuinely humble lady of refinement, strength and grace, and will be missed. She was preceded in death by her parents Harry & Eurilda, husband-Calvin, son Brent, and a grandson-Taylor.
A viewing will be July 9th at Jenkins-Soffe Funeral Home, 1007 W. South Jordan Parkway, South Jordan, Utah from 6:30-8 PM. Funeral services will be July 10th at Noon with a viewing one hour prior to the funeral.
We express thanks to Dr. Sharon Strong and all caregivers from Brighton Hospice for their kind and gentle service to Mom in the last days of her life. Online condolences may be shared at www.jenkins-soffe.com.
