Lenna Langford Obituary

1927 ~ 2016
Lenna Louise Harris Langford was born November 5, 1927 in Provo, Utah to Herbert Eugene and Theda Ann Moncur Harris. She passed away in Tooele, Utah, on March 17, 2016 at the age of 88 after a long illness.
She married Reed Murray Langford in Provo, Utah on April 19, 1947.
Lenna retired from the Utah Department of Workforce Services, and spent several wonderful years with Reed, "snowbirding" in Mesa, Arizona, with many treasured friends. She was a member of the Utah Quilt Guild, Rose Park Chapter. She was also an avid reader and had many friends that she made at the Rose Park Library, loved flowers and enjoyed "puttering" in her garden.
She is survived by her daughters Alison (Glen) Dean, Kathleen (Gary) Leger, Tamara (Sam) James: seven grandchildren; 15 great grandchildren. She is preceded in death by her parents, husband, her son, Scott Harris Langford, and sister, Bernice Gaither.
We are grateful for the employees and caregivers at Cottage Glen Assisted Living and the loving care she received by the Canyon Home Hospice Care, Tooele team.
A graveside service will be held on March 21, 2016, at Wasatch Lawn Memorial Park at noon, with a viewing one hour prior.
