Leo Rocco Riccardi

Salt Lake City, UT-On Sep 4th Leo passed away at age 88 peacefully knowing he was loved and cherished. He was a loving husband, doting father and adoring grandfather. Leo was born Nov 11th, 1929 to Rocco and Josephine Riccardi (deceased). He graduated from West High in 1947 and enlisted in the U.S. Airforce from 1950-53. He graduated from Salt Lake Vocational School in 1956 and became a diesel mechanic for Rick Warner for 30 years until retirement at age 62. Leo was shy but made up for it with his sweet nature, kindness and his ability to fix anything. He married the love of his life Annette on October 10, 1975 and lived a long and happy life. He loved working in his wood shop and created numerous keepsakes and furniture to help make their home beautiful. Everything he made was perfect. He was known to help his friends and family by fixing cars and other various items. He also enjoyed ice fishing, cruises with his wife and getting lucky in Wendover. After Leo retired he loved to help raise and play with his grandkids, as well as spend time with his dogs (Molli). He was always so patient and loving with them and made sure they knew how special they were to him.
Leo is survived by his wife: Annette; his girls: Camille, Angela, Stacy and Paula; 6 grandkids: Nick & Amanda, Adam & Daniel, Paul & Jessica; 9 great grandkids; and 2 brothers: Joseph & John. He was preceded in death by his oldest and loving daughter Carmen.
