Lisa Handley, our beautiful, courageous, bold and talented daughter, sister, aunt and friend left this life at the age of 44. Lisa was born in Ogden, Utah, on September 22, 1967, to Bruce and Lyn Handley.
Lisa had a passion for music throughout her life. She grew up in Ogden and attended Bonneville High School and Weber State University. Her beautiful voice will be a fond memory for all who had the honor to hear her. Not only her voice, but her presence lit up every room she entered. She had a strong, passionate personality and showed so many others how to find strength in themselves. She loved riding horses but more than anything else, she love riding her motorcycle!
Lisa was survived by her loving parents Bruce and Lyn Handley of Ogden, her sister Necia (Brad) Wiggins of Layton, her two brothers Mark and Steve Handley of California, her niece Kaelyn and her nephew Lance. Lisa has also left behind countless friends and relatives who also loved her spirit and fire. She was preceded in death by her Buddy.
We will be having a service to honor Lisa's life on Thursday, August 9 from 6:00 - 9:00 at the Big Field Pavilion at Sugarhouse Park, Salt Lake City. Anyone wishing to celebrate her life is welcome to attend. Casual dress. Lisa asked us to wear red in her memory.
Per the family's request, in lieu of flowers, you can make a donation in her name to the U of U Burn Camp, 50 North Medical Drive, SLC, UT 84132.
Beautiful Lisa - WE will always love you……Ride hard girl… ride hard….
