Margeo Stiny Howell
1955 ~ 2012
Margeo was born October 26, 1955 in Glendale, California to George George Stiny and Marjorie Bischof Stiny.
She passed away on July 19, 2012. Margeo grew up on a ranch in Santa Barbara, California and went to Santa Barbara High School. A lover of horses, Margeo cared for, rode, and competed on her own horses. In her youth, Margeo modeled for various high fashion companies. She began her college education at Brigham Young University in Provo, Utah, and later transferred to Utah State University. She married Robert Schettler Howell on November 13, 1982, and on December 13, 1995, gave birth to their daughter, Samantha Jane Howell. Her career began with home building and remodeling and she later obtained her Real Estate broker license as well as her General Contractor license. She was taught how to hand dip chocolates by her mother-in-law and continued the Howell tradition through a business, GrandMary's Chocolates.
She is survived by her husband, her daughter, her mother, and two step-children, Angie Howell Carter and Andrew L. Howell, and their families.
Per her request, there will be a graveside service at Wasatch Lawn Memorial Park, located at 3401 South Highland Drive, on Wednesday, July 25, at 12:00 P.M. The family requests that you plant a flower in your own garden in honor and memory of Margeo.
