Maria Rosina Sirianni Lupinacci Obituary
1925 ~ 2018
Maria Rosina Sirianni Lupinacci died on June 10, 2018 in her home surrounded by her loving family.
She was born to Teresa and Carmino Sirianni on July 15, 1925 in Pedivigliano, Provincia di Cosenza, Italia. She was the oldest of four children. She lost her mother at the age of 8 and was raised by an assertive but loving grandma.
She married the most handsome man in Pedivigliano, Francesco Lupinacci.
She was a homemaker. Mom turned hard work into beauty in her home and garden. Sharing the fruits of her labor was important to her. Her door was always open. She welcomed everyone. Her joy was expressed when her table was full of family and friends.
She loved the outdoors. The Uinta Mountains reminded her of the old country. She cherished her outings to Echo Resort, Bear Lake, East Canyon Resort, Hogle Zoo, and Wendover trips which she frequented with family.
Maria is survived by her children, Vincenza, Teresa (Steve), Elsa, Dora (Reese), Paul, Mario, Michael, Russ (Liz), and Lisa (Laurie); her beloved brother, Saverio Sirianni, who lives in Italia; and 16 grandchildren and 10 great grandchildren, one due in November.
She was preceded in death by a daughter, Elisa (7 days old); her husband of 56 years; a son Frank, Jr.; and one brother and one sister from Canada.
The family would like to thank the private caregivers and Vallejo Hospice Group for the special care they gave Maria.
