Marion Schmidt Obituary
Marion Louise Schmidt, age 73, died May 20, 2016. Marion was born in SLC, on February 17, 1943 to Bernard and Bertha (Fennema) Schmidt. Marion graduated from West High School in 1961 and retired from Mountain America CU in 2005. She later moved to St. George to be closer to her family.
Marion is survived by her two brothers Richard (Butch) Schmidt, wife Cynthia and David Schmidt, wife Marilyn, three nieces, two nephews and their families plus her lifetime friends Sheila and Nancy. She is preceded in death by her parents, brother Bob and sister Suzie.
A graveside service will be held on Monday May 23, 2016 at 11:00a.m. at the Larkin Sunset Gardens 1950 Dimple Dell Rd (10600 So) in Sandy.

Dear Butch and Dave and families....My heart is truly saddened by the news of Marion's passing. She will always be affectionately known to me as "Cookie" and yes, she would scold me when I did. I will miss her phone calls and "Hi, Cuz". We had a special bond that I will always cherish. I love the photo of her beautiful smile you have added. I have included a photo of her that she gave me many years ago that is my favorite.

.I had planned on visiting with you in June. we have great memories from the Onequa Ward where we first met, a Long time ago. You are loved and will be missed by many many people my sweet friend. Till we meet again sweet Marion, love you.
