I recall you telling me on more than once that you thought your mother was "just really cool"..
Though I only met your mother a couple of times and it was many years ago, I remember she had a style that was pleasant in the most positive ways. I'm sorry you lost your mom.

The Utah Geological Survey extends its condolences to the family of Martha, who worked with us for many years. Martha was a joy to work with and our source for a wealth and depth of information.

I'll never forget her telling me that she wished she had pursued a career in art rather than doing what seemed sensible. Yet, it seems, the end of life brings reconciliation with roads taken, roads not. Peace, Martha.
